The Elders have come to a decision...
You shall journey to the mountaintop and commune with the Goddess.
May the moonlight guide you.

This game was made by just me over the course of a month for Metroidvania Month 33. The theme was "Journey" so I decided I'd make a game where you have a main mechanic similar to the Chirp move from the game Journey. Then since there was a limitation of referencing something from the history of MVM, I wanted to reference the ARG they did last year by heavily featuring the moon and owls. So I made one of the main NPCs an owl and had the story be you journeying up a mountain to commune with the Moon Goddess Arianrhod. It features some other characters from Welsh mythology, but despite the fact that I live in Wales, don't expect anything to be accurate.
Overall I think the game turned out alright, but I had overscoped quite a bit, meaning I didn't get as much done as I was hoping (boss battles, multiple endings, etc). But y'know I have a full time job and can only dedicate some time in the evenings and weekends to it, and I'm working entirely solo... So it turned out alright.
I got a ton of tools made, so the process should be a lot quicker for the next metroidvania I make. It's so quick I have 55 rooms, most of which are multiple screens big and I only starting making levels 2 days before the jam ended.... Also if the levels seem a bit slapped together that's why... I didn't have much time to test...
It was quite rushed at the end, so if you notice any bugs or anything please let me know.
Thanks for playing!!!

The problem is that most of the rooms are fillers. I had to wonder these mazes just to find weapon book deep in them.
